Governor's Special Recognition Award (GSRA)
In 2003, the TEDC created the Governor’s Special Recognition Award. The Governor’s Special Recognition Award (GSRA) is granted to a Texas Community that has demonstrated outstanding achievement in economic development— above and beyond the scope of the CEDA criteria. The Governor’s special recognition award must be determined to have have extraordinary implications on the state economy in future economic development opportunities in the state and region.
